The annual meeting of EURO Working Group on Operational Research Applied to Health Services will take place in Bath (UK) at the University of Bath from 30th July to 4th August 2017. It is organised by the Centre for Healthcare Innovation & Improvement of the prestigious University of Bath School of Management.
The theme of the conference is "Creating Impact in Health & Care with Operational Research".
The academic programme of ORAHS 2017, which will take place on the beautiful University of Bath campus will include oral presentations, poster presentations, plenary sessions and special sessions for health care professionals, consultants and policy makers. The social programme will be equally entertaining taking full advantage of the City of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as the surrounding area including the picturesque Cotswolds, the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge and others.

Combining INFORMS Healthcare 2017 and ORAHS 2017
The organisers of INFORMS Healthcare 2017 and ORAHS 2017 have ensured that those who want to attend both conferences can
do so with ease. The Rotterdam conference ends on Friday 28th July and the Bath conference starts two days later, on Sunday 30th July.
There are numerous ways to travel from Rotterdam to Bath.
Direct flights from Rotterdam Airport to London City Airport take one hour and run every three hours.
Trains from Rotterdam to Lille to run three times a day and the Eurostar from Lille runs hourly to London.
There are direct flights from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Bristol daily (flight time less than an hour and a half), after which Bath is about 50 minutes by taxi, bus or a combination of bus and train.
Once you are in the UK train travel from London to Bath takes one and half hours, Cardiff to Bath takes just over an hour and Bristol to Bath takes 20 minutes.
Travel from Rotterdam to Bath by car using the Eurotunnel from Calais takes about six and a half hours.
It is possible to travel by bus and Eurotunnel from Rotterdam Central Station, via Lille and London Victoria Coach Station. This journey takes around 13 hours.
